About me

Thymen van Schaik

26 September 1998

I started back in 2017 with exploring photography, like "What is photography?", "What are the skills of others

and my skills?", "How does it work?" etc.

For me, it's all about discovering, exploring and practicing.

My first camera setup was a Nikon D3300 D-SLR camera body with an 18-55mm kit lens.

I used this set up for practicing, and later I bought some other lenses included my Nikon 10-24mm lens, and that lens became my standard lens for landscapes.

I had a Sigma 70-300mm lens for dog portraits and I also used the very old 70's Nikon 50mm f/2 lens which I used the most.

I sold my Nikon D3300 with my 18-55mm and 70-300mm lenses to a colleague and I bought the Nikon Z50.

Now during the past 3 years I builded up a big experience of photography with learning from other photographers and traveld a lot to Germany, Austria and Belgium to explore the world and to capture these places, and I still do that!

Photography is what I always love to do in my free time and I hope to work together with companies and photographers in the future!

Next to photography, I have a job with wonderful colleagues, and I'm a general employee for Stam Renault dealer group in the Netherlands.

I grew up in a small village north from Utrecht in the Netherlands.

Next to my photography in my free time and my job, I'd love to drive around, meet new people, hike, walk with dogs and play soccer.
